Before any surgical intervention, the patient is consulted by both a gynecologist and a plastic surgeon. A treatment method tailored to the individual patient will be selected and the day of the operative intervention will be planned. Depending on the scope of the operation, the operation will be performed on an outpatient basis or with an inpatient stay.

Duration: from 1 to 2 hours.

Anesthesia: Depending on the volume of intervention, general or local anesthesia is used.

Rehabilitation: During the first 1 week after surgery, the patient may experience some swelling, tenderness, and mild pain that is controlled with medication. It is necessary to strictly follow the recommendations given by treating doctors.  On average, 6-8 weeks are required for complete rehabilitation. The patient must make several post-operative visits to the clinic to remove the stitches and observe the rehabilitation process.
